A Little Bit About the Authors
Sara Beth Meyer holds degrees in education and theology. She resides north of Houston TX, where she enjoys her vocation as wife, mother & grandmother. She delights sharing the faith with little ones of all ages, as rejoicing in the Lord is her strength! (Nehemiah 8:10)
In the midst of the widespread adult confusion, division, and rancor during the COVID-19 pandemic, Sara felt a deep call to littleness and the joy of the Gospel. She approached Allison with the idea of creating Gospels for Little Ones. Their collaborative labor of love truly has been Good News as well as the foundation of the rest of their Little Ones work together. May God indeed show his deeds to his servants, his glory to their children, and prosper the work of their hands. (Psalm 90:16-17)
Allison Hsu also lives in Texas and is a wife and mother to all girls.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, Allison began sketching and observing the little things of life she never noticed before in the busyness of life - the blooms of spring, the animals in the yard, and objects of everyday life. While sharing these sketches, Sara asked Allison to consider illustrating the Gospels for Little Ones. Allison loves for her work to be fruitful, and whole-heartedly agreed. What a gift during the turmoil of these years to be able to "be little" and find comfort in God's Word!
